These notes should be seen as WGP-specific uses of that document. Data Dictionary--For the Request for Confirmation dataset, WGP uses the NAESB WGQ Data Dictionary as published; no additional data elements are utilized by WGP. SYNOPSIS OF MA AND BC DATA ELEMENTS Data Element Name NAESB WGQ Usage WGP Usage Confirmation Service Contract BC Used by WGP Confirmation Subsequent Cycle Indicator MA Used by WGP Delivery Rank (Priority) MA Used by WGP Downstream Contract Identifier BC Used by WGP Package ID MA Used by WGP Receipt Rank (Priority) MA Used by WGP Service Requester MA Used by WGP Service Requester Contract MA Used by WGP Upstream Contract Identifier BC Used by WGP Confirmation User Data 1 MA Not Used in Confirmation Confirmation User Data 2 MA Not Used in Confirmation Downstream Package ID MA Not Used in Confirmation Upstream Package ID MA Not Used in Confirmation CONFIRMATION PROCESSING SCHEDULE When WGP has agreed to send the Request for Confirmation for a particular location, WGP will send the Request for Confirmation dataset for that location in all applicable daily cycles; and WGP will process Confirmation Response datasets for that location in each daily cycle. When WGP has agreed to receive the Request for Confirmation for a particular location, WGP will process Request for Confirmation datasets for that location in its next confirmation cycle; and WGP will send the Confirmation Response dataset for that location in all applicable daily cycles. NAESB Standard 1.2.11 says Confirmation by Exception (CBE) means that the Confirming Parties agree that one party deems that all requests at a location are confirmed by the other party (the CBE party) without response communication by that party WGP allows confirming parties to utilize this approach to confirmation by using its Auto-Confirm program. If the confirming party has agreed to Auto-Confirm, WGP will presume that the Confirming Party will confirm all items on the Request for Confirmation, unless the Confirming Party notes an exception to a particular item.
